Lovely time had by all on Tuesday September 25 at the gracious home of Mark & Janet Wallace. Tech Set Dancers and the Caprock Ceili Band in the house, plus lots of friends old and new. Debut of the remarkable "High Plains Mild Ale," created by VMC Master Brewer Rob DeVet with a lovely custom label designed by our own Emily Furillo. Solo dancing from Sam and Emily, Morgan and more; group dancing by TSD and the assembled multitudes; song and instrumental music and a few guest songs besides. Next House Concert comes up November 13th...don't miss it!

For the September 25 VMC House Concert, sponsored by Mark & Janet Wallace, and featuring the Caprock Ceili Band and the Tech Irish Set Dancers, RMI inaugurates a new partnership with Milhouse Brewing Company for a special, limited-edition of Rob DeVet's remarkable High Plains Mild Ale. We celebrate & welcome this partnership with Rob, a skilled practitioner of this other valued vernacular tradition! As of Sept 8, the brew is bottled and working, and Rob reports it's smelling very good!

Rob's costs are approximately $3/bottle. This limited-edition will total 48 bottles, so total costs = $144.

We are inviting friends & supporters of RMI & VMC to bid as sponsor of this brew for the enjoyment of guests & friends at the Sept 25 VMC House Concert. The winning bidder will be credited at the event and thereafter and will be welcome to take home leftovers. Bidding began at the minimum of $144.

Bids are contained in the comments. Current bidding (4:51pm CDT on Sept 9 12) stands at $155: Camille Pitts is the current high bidder.

Additional bids are welcome, in the comments :-)
